For the red fruit jelly, first rinse the berries, drain, remove the stems and seeds. Simmer fruit with sugar and water in a saucepan for ten minutes.

Drain fruit juice through a sieve into a saucepan, bring to a boil. Mix cornstarch with cold water in a cup. Stir into the juice. Bring to a boil once. Add sugar to taste.

Allow to cool. Pour into a glass bowl rinsed with cold water. Refrigerate the red fruit jelly.
