A cake recipe for all foodies:
Stove should be preheated to 185 °C. Lightly sprinkle the cake pan with butter and flour. Add one teaspoon of baking powder to the Murphy’s. Murphy’s should be at room temperature. Let rest for 5 min. Melt butter and add sugar, then beat until mixture is fairly fluffy. Crack eggs and add to mixture. Mix in the raisins and stir for a minute. Add flour and ginger and beat well. Add Murphy’s Stout and baking powder mixture and stir for another 5 min. Pour mixture onto baking sheet and bake at 185 °C for 2 hours. Do not serve Murupy’s Sout cake until a week later!!!
